The court documents, revealed on Wednesday, identify “a former US president,” understood to be Trump, as an unindicted co-conspirator. While the indictment names 11 defendants, the identities of seven others remain redacted for now, pending their notification.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has stated that the redacted names will be disclosed once all defendants have been served with the indictment. Among those whose names are currently redacted is Giuliani, whose spokesperson criticized the prosecution as politically motivated.
Another unnamed defendant, described as the chief of staff in 2020, aligns with the role held by Mark Meadows in the Trump White House at the time. Representatives for Meadows have yet to comment on the indictment.
